Style Assessments
DISC
The DISC style assessment is a measure of interpersonal behavior. It is a powerful yet simple tool to gain self-awareness and an understanding of how to interact more effectively with others. Scientifically proven for validity and reliability, this assessment is based on the theories of psychologist William Moulton Marston. It classifies how we engage with others in terms of four personality styles. As a result, it helps teams understand each other and work more effectively together.
MBTI
The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) style assessment is one of the world’s most popular personality tools. More than 88% of Fortune 500 companies in 115 countries have used this assessment. It is a robust tool based on research and science for helping individuals and organizations improve how they communicate, learn, and work together. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator is a questionnaire indicating differing psychological preferences in how people perceive the world and make decisions. The test measures four cognitive/behavioral categories: introversion or extraversion, sensing or intuition, thinking or feeling, and judging or perceiving.
EQi 2.0 Emotional Intelligence Quotient
The Emotional Quotient Inventory (EQ-i 2.0®) is one of the first scientifically validated style assessment and one of the most widely used Emotional Intelligence instruments in the world. Based on more than 20 years of research worldwide, the EQ-i 2.0® examines an individual’s social and emotional strengths and weaknesses. Respondents self-report on their life and workplace performance in 15 key areas of emotional skill. These key areas have been proven to contribute to proficiency in complex business activities such as conflict resolution and planning. The assessment serves as a way for leaders to benchmark their strengths and areas of opportunity. This gives them the insight to understand their current state of emotional intelligence competencies. Additionally, leaders become aware of how they may be impacting relationships and results. The reports are then used in the subsequent workshop as a foundational benchmark to begin building increased EI capabilities.
Life Styles Inventory, Human Synergistics
The Life Styles Inventory (LSI) is an individual development tool that uses both self-assessment and 360 assessment feedback from colleagues to identify individual thinking and behavioral styles. By providing insights into strengths and areas for development, it empowers people to embark on their own journeys to being better at, and enjoying more, everything they do.
Thomas Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument
The Thomas–Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument is a conflict style inventory. This tool measures an individual’s response to conflict situations. The TKI allows you to discover whether you might be overusing or underusing one or more of five conflict-handling modes (collaborating, competing, compromising, accommodating, and avoiding). This discovery allows you to improve how you manage conflict.
Change Styles Indicator
The Change Style Indicator® (CSI®) is a style assessment which measures an individual’s preferred style in approaching and addressing change. It gives respondents of all levels an insight into their personal preferences for managing through change. In addition, it provides context for how those around them might perceive and respond to their preferred style.
